Pelicano is a licensed event venue at Level 1, 33 Bayswater Road, Potts Point, with five hireable spaces: an open-air Terrace Bar, a Disco Room with full DJ and lighting, a Cocktail Lounge, a Mediterranean restaurant, and exclusive hire of the whole venue. It hosts corporate functions, birthdays, engagements, Christmas parties and product launches from 20 guests to a full buy-out.

Before you ask
How many people can Pelicano hold?
Individual rooms suit groups from around 20 guests; exclusive hire of the whole venue accommodates several hundred cocktail-style. Tell us your numbers and we'll recommend the right room.
Can I hire Pelicano on a weeknight or Sunday?
Yes. The venue is closed to the public Sunday to Thursday, which makes those days ideal for exclusive hire, daytime conferences and after-parties.
Is there a minimum spend?
Minimum spends vary by room, day and season. Tell us your date and numbers and we'll send current figures — and if Pelicano isn't the fit, we'll suggest one of our sister venues.
Do you do Christmas parties?
Yes — November and December book out early. Enquire by October for the best dates.
Can we bring our own DJ or entertainment?
Yes, subject to a quick chat with our events team. There's a full in-house sound and lighting rig if you'd rather not.
Can you cater dietary requirements?
Yes — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and allergy-aware menus with notice.
Where can guests park?
Street parking on Bayswater Road and surrounds, plus secure car parks nearby. Kings Cross station is a four-minute walk.
